Employee Relations Practice
It is our belief that establishing a trust based and productive relationship with employees is a pre-condition to performance and engagement. Given the turbulence and transience in organisations this “relationship dimension” has been ignored and its importance grossly underestimated, giving rise to concerns about rights, fairness, discipline, productivity and so on. The lack of ER competencies and ignorance about laws and employee rights even among HR professionals worries us immensely. Our Employee Relations Practice will provide strategic consulting support to Organisations in strengthening these areas through a variety of interventions including education, advice on strategic compliance, audits and so on.
Leadership Practice
When Organisations think of leadership they think of leadership development and then think of training. Problems of leadership are far more complex. It is our belief that lack of leadership effectiveness will be one of the significant challenges that Organisations will face in the coming years. totus has significant experience in designing and implementing leadership development interventions We however see an urgent need to move beyond this. Leaders will need help in implementing the right systems of leadership governance. Leaders will need help in rallying the Organisation around a common purpose. Leaders will need to become sensitive about the impact of their style on Organisation climate. Leaders will need to build the right culture in their Organisation. The totus leadership practice will go beyond leadership development and provide strategic support in all aspects of Organisational Leadership. |
